What is Craft Gin?
So, what exactly is craft gin?
The word “craft” has no clear definition, but we believe that it is all about real craftsmanship. The distiller and the methods behind creating a product they are passionate about is what differentiates a gin from a craft gin.
Craft gin is mostly produced on a small scale (otherwise known as small-batch), it is handcrafted and offers individuality. When drinking it, you can taste just how much attention to detail was considered when creating the gin.
The distillery will be independently operated, and the gin distiller will have sourced all of their ingredients within their team. For example, a real craft gin distillery should be able to tell you exactly where the juniper berries were picked.
Unfortunately, “craft” is a very loose term when it comes to spirits, so sometimes it is hard to know whether the drink you’re drinking really is a craft gin.

Included in your subscription box will be our High Spirits booklet. This card is filled with information about your monthly gin including the notes you will taste, and a little bit of background of the gin brand.
Our experts will also recommend the ideal tonic and garnishes to use to compliment your gin to the fullest. However, the choice is yours!
Included in this booklet is also a section dedicated to delicious gin cocktail recipes, best served in our gin balloon glasses, so you and your friends can create and enjoy the many different tastes of your small-batch, craft gin.
