The Guards Gin (70cl, 40%)
The Guards, London Dry Gin was inspired by a serving officer in The Guards with £1 from every bottle sold to be donated to regimental charities, supporting veterans in need and the families of injured and fallen soldiers.
Taste Profile
The Guards is a wonderfully smooth London Dry Gin, featuring notes of juniper, coriander, citrus peel, lavender, wild blackcurrant leaves and rose petals, smoothed with honey from the Royal Balmoral Estate. Pine forests and strong rooty aromas come through on the nose, along with coriander and some citrus. The palate is bold with a spicy, woody sweetness and some complexity.
Background
The five regiments of Foot Guards are some of the oldest, most decorated and famous infantry troops in the World. Together with two cavalry regiments they form the Household Division.
Known by their famous bearskins and red tunics, they have guarded the monarch for over 360 years and fought in every major battle since Tangier.

Royal Gin Fizz
Get right royal for the coronation with this regal treat!
Ingredients
50ml Hawkridge “The Guards” London Dry Gin
30ml Prosecco
25ml fresh lemon juice
20ml simple sugar syrup
Egg white. Vegan substitute: chickpea water
Mint
Ice
Method
Add all ingredients except prosecco to a shaker and shake vigorously with ice. Strain and top with prosecco.
Recommended Garnish
Garnish the cocktail with a lemon twist and fresh mint.
