Promoting UK Gin
In the tough, uncertain climate that is Brexit, it’s important as a nation to promote and support local businesses. At Think Gin Club, we agree with this sentiment, which is why we make sure to mainly focus on UK gins. Although we do occasionally offer gins from distilleries across the world, the vast majority of gins we offer can be found here in the UK.
According to figures from HM Revenue & Customs, as of 2018, there are now 361 distilleries in the UK, including 166 in England & 160 in Scotland. In 2018 alone, 54 new distilleries opened to help meet the UK’s rising craft gin boom!
At Think Gin, not only do we offer you the best gin to taste, but we make sure to give the distillery the right promotions. We promote it in our High Spirits booklet as well as on our website & social media channels. In doing so, we can help those small distilleries to be more successful, getting their name out there, gaining them publicity and hopefully giving them the tools to remain on the gin scene for many years to come.

By sampling the best artisan craft gin in our monthly, bi-monthly & quarterly boxes, you’re not just sampling gin. To make these gins, many UK distillers use the finest ingredients that are found on our shores. Whether it’s the local honey and wheat used in the Arbikie AK Gin, the blackcurrant leaf or rose petals grown around Cambridge Distillery owners William & Lucy Lowe’s home, or the Winchester watercress from the Winchester Distillery, you’ll enjoy fresh UK botanicals.
