It’s time to announce our featured gin of the month! This month we’re taking a socially distanced trip to the Netherlands from the comfort of our homes!

This month’s featured gin is Gin 1689 London Dry Gin! Think Gin members may remember trying the Pink Gin version back in July!
This gin was launched in 2018 after founders Alexander Janssens & Patrick van der Peet found a three-century-old recipe from the time of King William II & Queen Mary the Second in the archives of the British Library.
Each gin is distilled with the same botanicals of the 1689 recipe and done so in the Herman Janssen Distillery, one of the oldest gin distilleries in the Netherlands.
The botanicals used include juniper, dried quince, pippin, dried orange and lemon peel, nutmeg, aniseed and cloves.
The result, a versatile gin balanced well with fruity notes, citrusy sharpness and zestiness, offering a smooth taste.
For the perfect serve, serve over lots of ice with premium Indian Tonic and garnish with an orange slice or peel.

Used a dried lemon wheel for the best look.
50ml Gin
15ml Mint Syrup
15ml Yuzu Juice
75ml Green Tea
Add the gin, tea, juice & syrup to an ice-filled tumber. Stir and garnish.
Garnish with a lemon wheel.
