Brookie’s History
Brookie’s Byron Dry Gin was recently launched on the UK market and is distilled in the Byron Bay region of New South Wales, Australia.
Distillation Process
Each gin is handcrafted using 26 botanicals, 18 of which come from the sub-tropical rainforest that surrounds the distillery. Botanicals include Byron Sunrise Finger Limes, Aniseed Myrtle, Cinnamon Myrtle, Macadamia, Native River Mint and Native Raspberry.
The Result
The result is a gin that opens with citrus notes, followed by aniseed and cinnamon myrtle. The juniper and coriander bring depth & distinction. Then the combination of liquorice, aniseed & ginger on the palate are followed by the contrast of raspberries and macadamias.
