Blood Monkey Spice Storm Gin (70cl, 40%)

This month’s featured gin is Blood Monkey Spice Storm by Cork-based distillery, Outcast Brands! This bold new gin is so smooth that it can even be sipped neat—and trust us, there are only a few gins in the world like that!

Based on the original 17th Century Genever recipe, Blood Monkey gin and its signature drill bit design are a nod to the act of bleeding the monkey, when 17th Century sailors drilled into the officers’ barrel to steal the liquor inside.

Spice Storm is a deliciously spicy gin that is flavoured with warming botanicals such as burned orange, cardamom pods, and Irish rosemary.

Thanks to its unique and bold taste profile, Blood Monkey Spice Storm won gold in the Contemporary category at the recent Global Gin Masters. Outcast Brands are no strangers to success since its Blood Monkey predecessor also won gold in the Ultra Premium Category!
