Arthur's Ridge Gin (70cl, 40%)
This month’s featured gin is Arthur’s Ridge Orange & Clove Gin, coming to us from Goswell & Bird’s! By day, Goswell & Bird’s is a traditional village store and coffee shop in Finchampstead, Berkshire, providing the local community and surrounding area with everything they need, from everyday essentials to premium seasonal produce or a place to meet family and friends. Of an evening Goswell & Bird’s is transformed into an exciting and welcoming alternative dining and event space.
Inspiration
With Christmas on the horizon, Goswell & Bird’s were looking for a distinctive seasonal expression in ‘Arthur’s Ridge’. Using the traditional ‘Christingle’ as the inspiration, the team macerated and distilled cloves to create a fragrant spirit which were then blended with Goswell & Bird‘s exquisite London Dry, ‘9 Mile Ride’ as the base gin.
Result & Perfect Serve
To finish the beautifully balanced gin, they then blended in the essence of sweet Seville oranges. A beautiful, juniper-heavy gin base, rich in oils to deliver a satisfying and long lasting palate experience. High complexity, smooth and very moreish.

Orange Lemon Gin Cooler
A zesty, refreshing thirst quencher.
Ingredients
Juice of 2 oranges
75ml Arthur’s Ridge Gin
2oz Simple Syrup
Juice of 1 lemon
350ml Sparkling Water
Method
Shake together everything except sparkling water. Split between two glasses and top with sparkling water.
Recommended Garnish
Orange wedges and ice for maximum refreshment.
