Naud Gin (70cl, 44%)
This month’s featured gin is the lively Naud gin! This gin offers exhilarating scents of lime, grapefruit and freshly picked flowers. Its wonderful scent contributes towards this gin’s powerful characteristics. Expect notes of citrus fruit mixed with minty notes and sweet spices!
Naud Gin History
Inspired by the recipes of Emile Perrier, Naud Gin is made with French winter wheat alcohol and a selection of 12 botanicals: juniper, green cardamom, orris root, ginger, clove, angelica, cinnamon, cubeb, coriander, nutmeg, bitter almond and organic Mediterranean bergamot.
Each botanical is macerated in alcohol and then distilled in a small copper pot still, in a “bain-marie” style. The aromatised spirits obtained through that process are then carefully blended to bring out the best of each botanical and exalt the Mediterranean bergamot.
Inspiration
Over the past century, five generations of passionate and bold entrepreneurs have crafted spirits in the distillery. The last ones in line are even somewhat rebellious – the brave pioneers of a new vision of spirits. That’s an attitude that we can’t help but admire, and has resulted in this rather phenomenal gin.
Result & Perfect Serve
Naud Gin is a truly remarkable spirit. Its grip of juniper subsides to a bergamot which results in a fresh and persistent finish. This gin is wonderfully versatile, so finish to taste!

Gin Basil Smash
Deceptively complex in flavour, this elegant garden cocktail really brings together these delightful notes.
Ingredients
60ml Naud Gin
20ml Lime Juice
20ml Simple Syrup
Basil Leaves
Method
Place the basil and lime juice in a shaker and mix gently. Add the simple syrup and gin and top up with ice. Shake, and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
Recommended Garnish
Basil flowers and lime zest make for a pretty finish.
