One Gin History
One Gin was launched on World Water Day in 2017. It is inspired by Duncan Goose, who started his ethical brand, One, after being caught in Hurricane Mitch in Honduras in 1998, a disaster that killed 20,000. During this time, Duncan understood what it meant to live without safe drinking water.
This experience stayed with him, and after launching his ethical bottled water brand, One Water, he realised there was an appetite for gin!
The Distillation Process
Each gin is copper distilled at the Langley Distillery in Oldbury, using English sage, juniper & citrus.
One Gin donates at least 10% of the profit to providing clean water to some of the world’s poorest communities. In partnership with The One Foundation, One Gin helps fund life-changing water and sanitation projects, with £20 million raised to date.
Result & Perfect Serve
The result, an aromatic nose of sage, juniper and sandalwood, with hints of orange marmalade, before a warm, smooth savoury finish.
By purchasing this box, you’ve contributed to the foundation. One Gin and Think Gin has donated £1 per bottle to The One Foundation. Although we are in 2020, 785 million people around the world do not have access to clean water. This is a basic right and it’s important now more than ever when sanitation and hygiene is so important.
The One Foundation works with carefully selected local partners around the world, implementing sustainable clean water and sanitation programmes. The strategic focus of the charity os to fund water utility infrastructures in poor communities to end the reliance upon aid for good.
So far, The One FOundation has raised more than £20 million, changing the lives of more than 3.8 million, demonstrating that you can make a difference, one bottle at a time, one day at a time.

Hot Gin & Cider
You’ll be warm and merry after this cocktail.
Use fresh fruit for the best flavour.
Ingredients
150ml Gin
750ml Dry Cider
50ml Honey
2 Mulling Spice Bags
Lemon & Orange Peel
Method
Add the mulling spice bags, orange & lemon peel slices & cider to a pan. Warm gently. Once hot, stir in honey & add the gin. Ladle into mugs to serve.
Recommended Garnish
Serve with an orange or lemon slice.
